Nero Fire
Nero Fire is a discontinued software application that can write data to a CD and has the ability to send a disc to the CD writer via E-mail.
It is a successor to Nero Burning ROM, which was the first ever CD burner for personal computers, but no longer supported in version 6.5 of Nero Burning ROM, nor is Nero Burning ROM in version 7. In version 7 of Nero Burning ROM, Nero Fire is the only CD and DVD burner.

Nero Burning Studio
Nero Burning Studio is the successor to Nero Burning ROM, released in 2006.
It is the only free software capable of burning the two latest-generation CDs, Blu-ray Discs, and DVDs.
On December 1, 2011, Nero announced the end of its support for burning Blu-ray and DVD media, and its replacement with Nero 12: this implies that it will no longer be possible to use Nero Burning Studio to burn Blu-ray or DVD media in the future. This is due to the fact that the software now supports both DVD+R/RW and BD-R/RW discs.
The current version of Nero Burning Studio is 11.2.
